Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs subscription fees, ticket purchases, and donations made through the Greekonnect platform (“Platform”). By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Platform Role Disclaimer

Greekonnect is a technology platform that facilitates event discovery, ticket sales, subscriptions, and donations. Greekonnect is not the organizer, promoter, or host of events, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

All events are organized and operated by independent third-party organizers, who are solely responsible for their events.

2. Subscription Fees

a. General Policy

  • All subscription fees charged by Greekonnect are non-refundable.
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance according to the selected plan.
  • Canceling a subscription prevents future charges but does not result in a refund for any previously paid period.

b. Free Trials

  • Free trials are provided as a promotional offer.
  • No charges will be incurred if a subscription is canceled before the free trial expires.
  • Abuse or misuse of free trials may result in termination without eligibility for future trials.

3. Event Ticket Purchases

a. Organizer Responsibility

  • Tickets are sold by event organizers, not by Greekonnect.
  • Each organizer sets their own pricing, refund, cancellation, and transfer policies.
  • Greekonnect does not control and is not responsible for organizer refund decisions.

b. Refund Requests

  • All ticket refund requests must be directed to the event organizer, in accordance with the organizer’s stated refund policy.
  • Greekonnect does not issue ticket refunds unless required by applicable law.

c. Event Cancellations, Postponements, or Changes

  • In the event of a cancellation, postponement, or modification, the organizer is solely responsible for determining refunds, credits, or rescheduling.
  • Greekonnect assumes no liability for event changes or cancellations.

4. Donations

  • Donations made through Greekonnect are voluntary and final.
  • Donations are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
  • Greekonnect is not a charitable trustee and does not guarantee tax deductibility.

5. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

  • Users are encouraged to contact the event organizer or Greekonnect support before initiating a chargeback.
  • Unauthorized or abusive chargebacks may result in account suspension or termination.
  • Greekonnect reserves the right to provide transaction data to payment processors to dispute chargebacks.

6. Legal Exceptions

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

Where required by law, refunds will be issued in accordance with statutory requirements.

7. Policy Modifications

Greekonnect reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
